Alternate Cover

I might have used this cover of a lovely lady reading for the All Ladies Issue. I love all things related to reading. But that’s just me, obviously.

Lots of good poems in there and hot photos too. Reb Livingston is making my mouth water holding that pie. Evie Shockley knows how I feel about her photo. So many more pictures to absorb…

But oh! The poems too! Don’t lose sight of the poems!

Here’s one I wrote just now, just to update my snowbound peeps:

Getting Fixed

I have a husband now.
I thought you should know.
I bought him on the internet.
E-Bay, winner by top bid.
Where do I send my check?
When do I get to put
my hands on the goods?

I am the only woman I know
without children. This’ll fix that.
And holidays, I’ll have cookies
in recloseable airtight containers.
I am a growth spurt on go.
On valium. I’m ready now.
Turn me over. Let’s get it on.

Thanks, Siggy. I like your poem about the book too. I could have been that persona!
