M.I.A.

So, the semester has started, and already, I’m dropping off the map. Things are well though – I send this message out especially to family and friends south of the Mason Dixon line.

I’m headed out to Southpaw in just minutes to see/hear this with one Gina Myers, pictured above. We were so young way back then (pictured last summer @ Botanica in Manhattan where I saw the director of that horrible film “Kids” once & refused to be impressed) I wonder if her beau, Mr. Mister, will be there? Yep, that’s his real name.

In other brief news, I’m looking forward to meeting Sandra Simonds (& many others) at AWP in Atlanta at the end of this month. Especially since she began this funny synopsis of Helen Vendler’s SOUL SAYS.

In other other news, watch out for MiPOesias soon. I plan to do some heavy editorial work this weekend, esp before the semester kicks into high gear and grading overtakes the weasels on their wheels in my brain.

Later, friends!
